Expertise

As President for Northern Trust in Central Texas, Jennifer Gravenor, CFA is responsible for overseeing the firm's business, strategy, relationships, and talent across Central Texas. In her role, Jennifer proactively leads a seasoned team of subject matter experts that meet the sophisticated financial services and planning needs of high net worth, family office, nonprofit and institutional clientele. Her team focuses on providing "high touch" investment management, fiduciary, banking, business advisory and wealth consulting solutions to clients across the region, partnering with their legal and tax advisors to deliver a boutique, multi-family office experience.

Experience

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2014, Jennifer was a senior advisor with J.P. Morgan's Private Bank, where she was responsible for leading a team supervising the asset management of billions of dollars on behalf of successful families, foundations and endowments across Texas. Previously, she has executed in-house for a large Family Office and has experience working in family law and trust litigation for an international tax firm. Jennifer has been recognized for her leadership as a Most Powerful Women in Banking: Next by American Banker and as an Austin Business Journal Women in Business award recipient.

Community Involvement

Jennifer began volunteering at a young age and values a commitment to community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Child Protection and the Austin Symphony Orchestra, and she is a member of the Dell Women's Trust and Leadership Society of Eanes Education Foundation. Jennifer is also a member of the Executive Committee for the Dell Children's Trust and recently co-chaired the hospital's Art of Giving event. Jennifer has previously served on the Boards of the Houston Ballet, Houston Symphony, Family Services, Hermann Park Conservancy and Da Camera where she held various leadership and fundraising roles.
