Mr. Sutton works closely with client boards and investment/finance committees to understand their specific mission and goals. He then leads the process to develop investment portfolios that are optimized and tailored to meet their specific needs

Experience

Frank Sutton joined Northern Trust in 2001 and has been working in the investment management industry since 1997. He previously served as Vice President and Senior Research Analyst at Northern Trust Investments in Stamford, Connecticut and was a member of the hedge fund research team starting in 2005. His responsibilities included sourcing, evaluating, recommending and monitoring hedge funds used in Northern Trust's hedge fund of funds products and custom hedge fund portfolios. Prior to joining the hedge fund research team, Mr. Sutton was an Assistant Vice President on the client servicing and program management team at Northern Trust Investments. He managed institutional investment programs for large client relationships including U.S. pensions, foundations, and healthcare organizations as well as Canada-based corporate pension plans of U.S. parent companies. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Mr. Sutton was a Financial Analyst at Highland Associates, an investment consultant to not-for-profit hospitals. At Highland, his time was dedicated to manager research and client service.
