Expertise
Chris is a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for Northern Trust in San Diego. He has over 12 years of investment experience and is responsible for managing portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations.
Experience
Before joining Northern Trust, Chris worked as a Co-Portfolio Manager at a Registered Investment Advisory firm in San Diego, crafting portfolios for clients totaling over $400 million in assets under management and trading the firm's proprietary options strategy. Prior to that, he was a Vice President and Investment Consultant for Meketa Investment Group in Carlsbad, CA, advising institutional portfolios totaling over $20 billion in assets for pensions, endowments, and foundations. Chris began his career on Wall Street in New York City as an Associate for Sidoti & Company LLC, a sell-side equity research firm specializing in US small and micro-cap stock picking.
Community Involvement
Chris is passionate about the community and is involved with The Century Club of San Diego, a non-profit corporation of business leaders who organize The Famers Insurance Open PGA Tour Event at Torrey Pines to maximize support for the San Diego community and local youth programs. In addition, he also volunteers as a head coach at Del Mar Little League.
