Expertise
Ryan is a Senior Vice President and the Senior Banking Director in Northern Trust's San Diego Region. Working closely with families, their related businesses, and non-for-profit organizations, and in close connection with other Partners within Northern Trust, Ryan and the entire banking team provide customized capital advisory, credit and depository solutions.
Experience

Ryan joined Northern Trust in January 2024, after more than 18 years with City National Bank. Ryan was Team Lead and Manager of the Commercial Real Estate group in San Diego.

Immediately prior to joining Northern Trust, Ryan was a Managing Director within City National's Capital Markets division, overseeing the national sell-side syndication practice for large commercial real estate transactions, and aided in fund and franchise finance syndication efforts.

Community Involvement
Ryan has sat on multiple non-profit boards, the most recent being Voices for Children, which, via court appointed special advocates (CASA's), advocate for the well-being of foster youth in San Diego and Riverside Counties. Ryan is also very passionate about housing assistance and programs which address homelessness and long-term housing solutions, and part of this focus is spent in him giving his time and efforts in support of Habitat for Humanity San Diego.
