Expertise
Based in San Francisco, Michael is a Senior Managing Director and President of the Northern California Region. In this role, Michael is responsible for leading the firms Wealth Management business in the Bay Area, which encompasses the investment management, trust, estate, private and business banking businesses. In addition, Michael is a member of the Northern Trust West Region Leadership Team.
Experience
Prior to his current role, Michael served as Managing Director and West Region Market Executive at CIBC Private Bank. Prior to his time in San Francisco, Michael served as a Private Client Advisor at US Trust in Chicago. Michael began his career as a practicing litigation attorney focused on tax and real estate disputes.
Community Involvement
Michael currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Macedonia2025, an international 'think & do' tank, on the board of directors of the Veteran's Business Project, and is also an active Member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Prior activities include serving as a Braven Leadership Coach, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America mentor, and as a founding board member of the Heroh Foundation.
