Expertise

John helps clients carry out their wishes over time, with attention to effective tax strategies and reflecting his experience as an advisor to families on a range of issues. He serves as a lead relationship manager, especially for clients planning to benefit multiple generations. As Senior Fiduciary Officer for the Northeast Region, he also participates in Northern's extensive work as a professional trustee and executor.

Experience

Before joining Northern Trust, John spent 20 years at JPMorgan Private Bank, where he was a Managing Director and Senior Trust Officer. Earlier in his career, he practiced trusts and estates law at Sullivan & Cromwell and Skadden Arps in New York City and Cummings & Lockwood in Greenwich.

Community Involvement

John is a former member of the Board of Directors of Community Answers in Greenwich. He has served on several committees of the New York City Bar Association, including the Committees on Estate and Gift Tax; Art Law; and Trusts, Estates and Surrogate's Courts.
