Alexander is the President of the South Florida Region for the Wealth Management business of Northern Trust. Based in Miami, he is responsible for overseeing the four offices in the South Florida region with a team of seasoned professionals who serve high net worth clients and families with comprehensive wealth management services incorporating investment management, trust and advisory services, banking and financial consulting.
Alexander has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has served in many leadership roles through his tenure at Northern Trust. He began his career as a Private Banker and through his success and expertise became President of the South Florida Region
Experience
Prior to joining Northern Trust, he spent his first five years of banking with First Union National Bank as a Commercial Lender and later he spent two years with Citibank as a Private Banker and a Branch Manager.
Community Involvement
Alexander's involvement in the Miami-Dade Community extends beyond his role at Northern Trust to a range of community organizations. His current board memberships include Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, The Miami-Dade Beacon Council and Ronald McDonald House Charities. He is a trustee and campaign co-chair for 2020-2021 of United Way of South Florida. He is a member of the University of Miami's President's Council and the Florida Bankers Association, Government Relations Council.
