Expertise
As Senior Managing Director, David leads a team of 40 experienced bankers, portfolio managers, trust advisors, and wealth advisors who serve financially successful families. He is accountable for the delivery of exceptional advice and service to our clients. David has directly advised clients through important transitions including the sale of family businesses and the generational transfer of family wealth.
Experience
Before joining Northern Trust in 2001, David advised corporate executives on using EVA® to enhance shareholder value while a consultant for the corporate finance advisory firm Stern Stewart. Previously he was a Director for the investment firm, SCI Financial Group, and co-led the sale of this family business to Wells Fargo.
Community Involvement
He is a Trustee and Chairs the Finance Committee for Writers Theatre in Glencoe, IL, and is a Trustee of Lawrence University in Appleton, WI and former Chair of the Investment Committee responsible for its $300 million endowment.
