Expertise
John is one of two Senior Managing Directors responsible for the oversight of Northern Trust's Wealth Management business in the Greater New York region. He manages our New York City based team that provides comprehensive investment, planning and banking advice for the firm's high net worth individual and family clients. He brings with him over 30 years of asset management and client relationship experience.
Experience
Prior to joining Northern Trust, John was a Managing Director at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), which he joined in 1994. Most recently at BBH, John was an Office Head based in New York managing one of the firm's largest of seven Wealth Management offices. Prior to this role, he led BBH's open architecture client group and national business development efforts. Before joining BBH, he worked for the U.S. Trust Company of New York for seven years within their Asset Management Group.
Community Involvement
John sits on the Board of Trustees for The Fund for American Studies in Washington, DC and is a former Board of Directors member of the Rumson Country Club in Rumson, NJ.
